We are Licensed Therapists in Nairobi and happy to meet you
From one-on-one sessions to corporate wellness programmes and school counselling, we meet every client exactly where they are, here in Nairobi and online. Every intervention is evidence-based and tailored to the person, family, or organisation in front of us, because we know no two stories are the same.
Confidential one-on-one sessions for adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, grief, and major life transitions. Therapeutic approaches are carefully selected to fit each client's circumstances and goals.
Real support for children facing real struggles. Our therapists partner with parents to tackle emotional, behavioural, and neurodevelopmental challenges, creating lasting change that extends beyond the session room into everyday life.
Comprehensive psychological assessments including Griffiths assessments to identify growth delays, areas of strength, and neurodevelopmental differences in children. Parents receive detailed feedback and practical guidance throughout.
Your teen deserves a safe space to work through school stress, friendships, identity, and tough choices. We listen without judgment, whether in person or online.
Structured therapeutic support for couples navigating communication breakdown, conflict, trust issues, or emotional disconnection. Evidence-based frameworks guide partners toward healthier and more resilient relational patterns.
Holistic therapy that brings family members together to restore emotional safety and healthier relational dynamics within the home. We address conflict, grief, trauma, and communication difficulties in a neutral and supportive setting.
Secure and confidential online therapy sessions that make professional psychological care accessible from anywhere in Kenya and beyond. Digital sessions maintain the same clinical standards as in-person appointments.
Corporate-focused mental health support that helps employees manage burnout, workplace challenges, and personal difficulties. Programmes are fully customisable to each organisation's size, sector, and workforce needs.
On-site psychological support for students experiencing academic stress, emotional difficulties, or social challenges. Our counsellors work with students, teachers, and administrators to promote whole-school wellbeing and early mental health intervention.
Our Approach
Yes. Confidentiality is a foundational clinical and ethical obligation at Ardent Therapists. The extremely narrow exceptions are: (a) imminent risk to your life or another person's life, (b) disclosed abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, or (c) a lawful court order. Outside these rare circumstances, nothing you share will leave the practice without your explicit written consent — not to family members, employers, or anyone else.
The duration of therapy depends entirely on your goals, circumstances, and the nature of what you are working through. Some clients benefit from 6 to 12 focused sessions. Others engage in longer-term work over months or years. You are never locked into a fixed programme. Your therapist will regularly review progress with you, and you are free to pause, reduce frequency, or conclude sessions at any time.
Individual therapy is an ongoing process of exploring thoughts, emotions, and behaviours with a qualified therapist. Counselling is often shorter-term and focused on a specific concern or life challenge. A psychological assessment — such as the Griffiths child assessment we offer — is a structured evaluation that identifies strengths, areas of difficulty, and developmental differences, resulting in a detailed report and recommendations. Our team will recommend the most appropriate service during your initial consultation.
Yes. Our teletherapy service delivers the same standard of clinical care as our in-person sessions at Westlands. Secure, confidential video sessions are available to clients anywhere in Kenya and internationally. Distance, mobility constraints, and scheduling demands do not have to be barriers to receiving professional psychological support.
Yes. We offer specialised child therapy, psychological assessments (including Griffiths assessments), and adolescent counselling for young people aged 9 and above. Our child therapists are trained to create safe, nurturing environments where children can express themselves freely. Interventions are always developed in close collaboration with parents or caregivers.
Yes. We provide a comprehensive suite of organisational and institutional services, including Employee Assistance Programmes, workplace mental health training, group therapy for teams, school counselling, and teacher capacity-building workshops. All corporate and institutional programmes are customised to the specific needs, size, and context of each organisation. Contact us to discuss a programme tailored to your team or institution.
Ardent Therapists operates a strict zero-discrimination policy. Every person who engages with our practice is received with equal professionalism, dignity, and care, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, religion, belief, ethnicity, appearance, or any other characteristic. We are committed to a clinical environment in which every client feels genuinely safe and unconditionally welcomed.
The child assessment my daughter received at Ardent was thorough, clearly explained, and immediately actionable. As a parent, I finally understood what she was experiencing. I cannot overstate how valuable that clarity has been for our family.
